FAQ's
- Where does the smoke come from?
The smoke from your Halo is actually only vapour. Unlike normal cigarettes, no burning process takes place, so there is no carbon or toxic smoke, only nicotine vapour. This is why Halo is a lot healthier than cigarettes
- Is this legal, and can it be used in public places (e.g. bars, clubs, restaurants)?
As explained in the previous question, no real smoke is produced; hence Halo is absolutely legal in public place such as bars, clubs, airplanes….. Always check with the people in charge of the establishment you are in though, as they might not be aware of the existence of the new device.
- What are the chemicals in the cartridge?
The chemicals in the cartridge are pure nicotine extract (from tobacco leaf), alcohol (from natural sources), and three other edible natural extracts from plants such as banana tree….
The blue light is a way for the people around you to acknowledge the fact that you are not smoking a normal dirty smoke cigarette. We’ve designed our Halo this way based on feedback from clubs, Government, and local authorities; to ensure you do not get thrown out of bars, clubs, or public places. This is also our trademark light colour and an assurance of the Halo quality.
We all know about the deadly chemical (added to Nicotine, rather than Nicotine itself) contained in standard cigarettes and the damage they cause to you and those around you (If you are not sure check out the Halo vs Cigarette section on our website).
1000’s die every year in the UK alone from smoking and smoking related diseases. Halo offers an option that is:
- healthier, the switch-over can literary save lives.
- smells better; no more stinking cigarette smells, and that’s before you try our apple, mint, etc flavours.
- more stylish
- incredibly cost effective; the average smoker can save over £1000 per year.
It makes complete sense for you to switch to Halo today. You will still feed your Nicotine craving (when you need it) without killing yourself, those around you, or destroying the environment!

- Where can I buy a Halo and the refills?
The cartridges can be purchased from the same place as your unit was purchased. It will also be available soon in petrol stations, corner shops and main stream shopping centres.
Alternatively, items can be purchased through our website (on-line sales will be available shortly but e-mail sales@triplehalo.com until then to order).

- What is the equivalent in cigarettes of one cartridge?
It depends on the cartridge strength. A high Nicotine cartridge is the equivalent in Nicotine to approximately 2 packs of standard cigarettes… in practical usage it will be between 30-35 cigarettes in terms of Nicotine content.
- How long does a cartridge last?
It depends on how much you use your Halo. For someone who would smoke about 1 packet of cigarette a day, a cartridge would probably last a day and a half to two days.
- How long does the battery last?
The more you use your Halo, the quicker the battery will die, but a full battery will last at least a full day even in relatively intense use. Remember you get two batteries in the deluxe box.
